Q & A

How do we diagnose OSA?

Based on your history, BMI and sleeping habits. We give you a screening questionnaire which helps us evaluate if you are a candidate to consider sleep studies. We dispense at-home portable sleep monitor ARES.

What are the symptoms of OSA?

Waking up unrefreshed, feeling tired during day, daytime somnolence, and snoring.

What happens if you have OSA?

If you have OSA, your breathing is either completely stopped (known as an apnea) and/or your breathing is severely restricted (a hypopnea) for multiple times, which can eventually cause lung and heart conditions.

What is ARES sleep study?

The Apnea Risk Evaluation System (ARES™) integrates physiological data acquired in-home with clinical history and anthropomorphic data to determine the presence and severity of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).
